I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won't die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won't have a blog but now a days it's very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.

Search engine optimization or seo is a complex process that involves checking the site for errors, improving titles and metadata (i.e description) and of course the offpage part of the process meaning a lot of links. This is called linkbuilding and it's probably the most important part of the whole seo process. Oups I forgot it's very important to use canonical url's through a 301 redirect.

Thank you for a very clear and helpful post. I am definitely a violator of many of these rules. I often find myself conflicted when writing a blog post because I see myself writing more than people want to read, but I feel that I have to do the subject matter justice by thoroughly covering it. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

One issue is that many TVs with progressive input don't permit the aspect ratio to be changed -- they assume all progressive-scan input is anamorphic. When a non-anamorphic (4:3) picture is sent to these TVs they distort it by stretching it out! Before you purchase a DTV, make certain that it allows factor ratio adjustment on progressive input. Or get a player with an aspect ratio control option that "windowboxes" 4:three movie into a 16:9 rectangle by squeezing it horizontally and adding black bars on the side. Simply because from the added scaling step this degrades picture quality, but at least it gets around the issue.

Last summer/fall, I had intermittent inner ear problems and would get vertigo out of nowhere. The last time it happened I was going 70mph in the left lane of a freeway. I got so freaked out it triggered a full-blown panic attack. I had to pull over and call 911. I went to the hospital and was fine, but ever since then, even 8 months later, I get anxiety when I drive on the freeway. Lucky for me, I have to drive that stretch of road on my way to school 4 times a week but it has still been *really* tough.

I must say, as much as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while.
